Summary
The Internal Brand Strategist will position the in-house line of products on the sales floor and ensure that the brands’ online presence reflects the commitment to quality in order to maximize the earning potential of Sales, Production and Cultivation. They will track incoming batches and partner with various teams to increase the company’s overall market share.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Sales Floor Display CasesDefine, design and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy that continues the story initiated by Marketing. Delegate execution of visual display rotations, updates, or changes.Account for the company's message and vision and creatively incorporate them into visual design.Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store.Change displays to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes.Establish and maintain a curated selection of flower strains at various price-points. Act as point person for new internal product launches to ensure all brand and inventory assets are deployed on time and correctly. Online Presence and CultureMaintain product presence on the online menu (appropriate description, picture, categorization, price)Act in alignment to the organization’s culture, products, image and target market.Research lifestyle, demographics, and design trends. Tracking and ReportingIdentify and tag incoming batches to be excluded from promotions. Monitor costs and work within budget.Produce displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans and special promotions displays.Develop productive relationships with teams involved in established workflows and monitor completion of their respective steps. Ensure that aging products are pushed out of inventory via flash sales, incentives, etc. Evaluate sales metrics by strain and by product in order to make suggestions on weight needed per strain and where to devote cultivation and production resources.Manage the batch levels and strain availability on the floor and in the back stock to ensure maximum maximize internal brand revenue.Evaluate and manage the total product mix on the floor to ensure our brands are the top selling products in all product categories at all times. Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Collaboration with Marketing, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Cultivation and Production is vital to the success of the strategist. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-specific software.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
