    Salary placement shall be made by the Board or the Board designee and is commensurate with education and experience pursuant to the APT Negotiated Agreement
    For the 24/25 school year positions will start at Row C, with a maximum of 3 years of previous experience credit awarded, (Row C up to Row F based on previous experience on the attached salary schedule). Experience will be verified.

    FTE: 1.0
    9 Month Position
    Description:
    • Knowledge of integrating services into the classroom
    • Chair IEP meetings and manage caseload. Complete required documentation and data collection necessary for IEP reports and goals.
    • Assist the administrative team in establishing a school climate which encourages good conduct, positive attitudes and values for all students.
    • Build positive relationships with students, parents and staff members.
    • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with staff members, parents, and students.
    • Work collaboratively within a team environment.
    • Meet regularly with teachers, paraprofessionals and specialists to discuss individual student's modifications or adaptations, ongoing learning issues, interventions or problems. Work collaboratively to ensure interventions are effective.
    • Participate in staff development and school improvement activities in order to maintain professional growth. Plan and incorporate best practices or new strategies.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:
    • Valid State of Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate School Social Worker endorsements registered in Will County
    • Certificate of good health signed by a licensed medical provider
