    Salary:
    Salary placement shall be made by the Board or the Board designee and is commensurate with education and experience pursuant to the APT Negotiated Agreement.
    For the 23/24 school year positions will start at Row H, and all previous years of experience will be awarded (Row H up to total number of years on the attached salary schedule). Experience will be verified.
    In addition, the position will receive an $8,000 stipend. The stipend will be in place yearly or until there are any changes to the APT contract. The stipend will be paid in 4 installments (quarterly) on the last pay date of the following months: October, December, March, May.

    Shared between Eichelberger Elementary School (.50) and Charles Reed Elementary School (.50)
    Description:
    • Chair IEP meetings and manage caseload. Complete required documentation and data collection necessary for IEP reports and goals.
    • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with parents, staff, and students on progress.
    • Assess the academic, behavioral and emotianal needs of students using formal and informal testing instuments. Conduct observations of students in the classroom, review school records, consult with parents and school personnel, admnister assessments and interpret diagnostic findings.
    • Meet regularly with teachers, paraprofessionals and specialists to discuss individual student's modifications or adaptations, ongoing learning issues, interventions or problems. Work collaboratively to ensure interventions are effective.
    • Participate in staff development and school improvement activities in order to maintain professional growth. Plan and incorporate best practices or new strategies.
    • Experience in Rtl practices.
    • Participate in events outside of the regularly scheduled work day such as orientation, open houses, conferences or extra-curricular activities.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:
    • Professional Educator License Registered in Will County
    • State of Illinois School Psychologist Endorsement (SPSY)
    • IDFPR License
