Hospice RN Team Manager

Education requirements: RN License

Work Experience: 2 years supervisory experience and 2 years hospice experience required

Required Skills: Hospice team management, excellent communication skills, organizational skills, familiar with laptop and/or computer use, ability to work with a team

Required Certifications and Licensures:

• Registered Nurse license in state(s) practicing
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification preferred
• Must be a licensed driver with a car and auto insurance

Duties:
- Manage referral information to facilitate admissions and evaluate all prospective clients
- Serve as liaison between staff and hospice teams as necessary
- Plan and orient new clinical employees
- Maintain accurate census information in data base form. Compile statistics for quality indicators
- Share on call time
- Maintain accountability for the clinical staff and responsible for clinical employee evaluations
- Coordinate in-services according to staff needs, to facilitate development and training of staff
- Maintain and review all documented records for the medications with the hospice teams and staff and ensure accuracy and education

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
