Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.

Salary will be based on experience but starts at $30/hr.

Responsibilities: This position is for Level 3. Applicants must also be able to perform responsibilities associated with a Level 1 and Level 2 Maintenance.

Level 3:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls
• Assists with the replacement of faulty equipment and/or repairs
• Tracks and logs repair work and completed work orders
• Measure alignment using a laser scan, interpret results, and adjust the machine’s alignment
• In Syteline, creates new Work Orders for down equipment, adds inventory use to the Work Order, and closes completed Work Orders
• Assess, develop continuous improvement ideas, and implement them
• Use machine controls to move, assess, and diagnose machine tools and troubleshoot issues
• Apply multiple diagnostic techniques, as needed, to form solutions for machine and machine tool repairs
• Assess relational machine alignments with micrometers and other standard equipment and make corrections as needed
• Assess and implement improvements to make machines safer
• Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 Maintenance Techs by readily sharing knowledge, promoting teamwork, and helping others to understand best practices
• Evaluate existing Preventive and Planned Machine Maintenance programs based upon OEM standards and failure rates to conform with the actual environmental conditions where the equipment is used

Qualifications: Level 3 must fulfill qualifications associated with a Level 1 and 2 Maintenance Technician as well as the following:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience preferred
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, aligning, and maintaining CNC equipment preferred
• Continuous improvement experience preferred
• Experience evaluating Preventive and Planned Machine Maintenance programs preferred
• Experience working with Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma controls strongly preferred
• Experience educating, mentoring, and providing technical guidance to Maintenance Techs strongly preferred
• Experience using maintenance software required
• Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions required
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner required

Skills: A fully qualified Maintenance Technician 3 will have the following skills plus all Maintenance Technician 1 and 2 skills

• Mentoring
• Machine alignment
• Machine controls (e.g., Siemens, Fanuc, Okuma, HAAS, GROB, Makino, Mazak)
• Laser scanner
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt
