Placers is seeking an equipment operator for our premier client site located in Elkton, MD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing orders for shipment based on daily pick tickets. The ability to operate an electric pallet jack will be required to perform duties. While operating the equipment, this candidate must locate, pull, and stage materials within the warehouse.

$17/hr

Mon-Fri

8am-5pm

Responsibilities include:

• Safely operate forklifts and electric pallet jack riders at reasonable speed and control
• Pull, process and perform inspections of materials and parts
• Responsible for shipping and completing required paperwork
• Move materials within the warehouse and assist in other warehouse activities
• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from staging and processing areas
• Assist in other warehouse activities as directed by the manager
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, and PPE, preventing incidents or injury to self or others

Requirements:

• Experience operating electric pallet jack
• General warehouse experience
• Ability to pass an extensive background and drug test
