Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Back of House Team Member to join our team. As a Back of House Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment. Your primary responsibilities will include food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and assisting with menu planning and catering.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the health and safety of our customers
- Assist with menu planning, including suggesting new dishes and specials
- Collaborate with the front of house team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Assist with catering events as needed
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding food preparation, sanitation, and safety
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, such as culinary or food service
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
