Pixelogic Media is Hiring an Intern - Scripting & Subtitling Services Near Burbank, CA
During the twelve weeks of training, interns will gain an introduction to production across editorial and operational lines of business. The curriculum incorporates planned learning experiences through the Pixelogic LMS, in-person coaching, and practical application.
Responsibilities:
- Researching production scripts to aid in notating annotations for editors and translators
- Research and presentation of metrics across various production teams which details previous and incoming production demands
- Assisting the Management team with operational initiatives to streamline business between the Burbank, London, Cape Town, and Cairo teams
- Assist in the development of an employee engagement program, including planning culture committee events for staff
- Degree from an accredited College or University and must be able to provide a copy of school transcripts upon request
- A college degree in Film Production, Screen Writing, or Linguistics is a plus
- Must commit to 12 weeks of work in a full-time work schedule
- Must be able to work onsite in Burbank, CA - this is not a remote position
- Must have reliable transportation to report to work on time
- Technically literate and comfortable with a variety of computer applications
- Have experience and familiarity with Mac and Windows operating systems
- Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be a self-starter, quick learner, inquisitive, and have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
