We're currently in search of a dedicated and skilled bookkeeper/tax preparer to join our growing Forensic Accounting and Tax firm based in North Tacoma. Our firm specializes in providing a wide range of services to both families and businesses, including income tax preparation, tax planning, bookkeeping, business consulting, and forensic accounting. Our defined mission is to empower business owners in achieving their goals by aligning their efforts with their objectives. A critical component of this mission involves optimizing bookkeeping and payroll processes for numerous clients across the North Tacoma area and beyond.

Experience:

- Over two years of hands-on bookkeeping experience within a computerized environment, including proficiency in bank reconciliations.

- Extensive background in small business office settings, with over two years of experience.

- Demonstrated expertise with MS Word and Excel, with over two years of practical application.

- Minimum one year’s experience working with a CRM system.

- At least two years of familiarity with tax preparation software, preferably Pro-System FX Tax.

Technologies:

- Proficiency in utilizing a CRM system, particularly Karbon, for efficient time tracking and billing management.

- Skilled in MS Outlook and Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, Teams) for effective communication and collaboration.

- Experience with both QuickBooks desktop and QuickBooks Online for comprehensive financial management.

- Familiarity with Pro-System FX Tax software for efficient tax preparation and compliance.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
