Job Description:

Pivot Painters is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Painter to join our team. As a Painter with experience in residential painting, you will be responsible for completing various painting projects in homes across Chicago. From interior walls and ceilings to exterior surfaces, you will use your expertise to deliver good painting results for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, patching, and priming
• Follow project details based on client preferences and project requirements
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
• Ensure proper protection of furniture, floors, and other surfaces before starting the painting process
• Repair and touch up damaged or worn areas to provide a smooth finish
• Clean and maintain painting equipment and work areas
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met and customer satisfaction is achieved

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Painter, with a focus on residential painting (Minimum 2 years experience required)
• Highly skilled in all aspects of painting, including surface preparation, application techniques, and finishing touches
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects as required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to learn how we do things and hit the ground running

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
