Pivot Home Health is a new home health agency that is beginning to build a talented, compassionate and tenacious therapy team to provide physical therapy services to homebound patients in the Denver Metro Area. Position Summary: The Physical Therapist is responsible for planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual clients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy and according to the orders coordinated with a licensed physician.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school of Physical Therapy and two years of physical therapy experience. Home health experience is preferred.
Language Ability: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Mathematical Ability: Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages Physical Therapist Assistant employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The work environment is highly variable, as care is provided in private homes. Lighting, acoustics, air quality, temperature and environmental hazards are not predictable. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must have the ability to perform the anticipated level of physical assist required to provide safe client care. If the anticipated level of assist is greater than that which the employee can safely provide, the supervisor is to be notified immediately.
Travel: The employee is required to travel frequently to complete home health visits. There are occasional trips to locations outside the county.
