Pittsburgh Spice & Seasoning Co. is a local family-owned business. We have been supplying our spices, seasonings, casings, and equipment to businesses and individuals since 1967. We are currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Laborer to join our team at our Pittsburgh location in the Crafton Heights neighborhood.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for entirety of work shift
• Ability to efficiently multi-task with minimal errors
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Willingness to work over-time and weekend hours as needed
• Previous warehouse experience preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving and checking-in shipments of product
• Using a pallet jack
• Putting away received shipments
• Loading product onto outgoing trucks for delivery / completing orders according to delivery schedule
• General cleaning and maintenance of work spaces
• Strict adherence to food safety protocols
• Ability to keep track of inventory for product ordering

Please note that you will be working with spices and seasonings which have very strong aromas that may bother people with sensitivity to strong smells. You will also be handling casings which can be unpleasant. If you are squeamish, this is not the position for you!
