The Women's and Gender Studies (WGS) Program at Pittsburg State University is accepting applications for part-time, temporary Lecturers of Women’s and Gender Studies for Fall 2022.
Program description:Women's and Gender Studies is an academic discipline in which students learn how gender combines with other aspects of identity and diversity, including race, ethnicity, sex, sexuality, religion, age, nationality and (dis)ability, to affect artistic expression, institutional arrangements, and national and global political, cultural, social, and economic relations. Located within the College of Arts and Sciences, Women's and Gender Studies currently offers two undergraduate minors, a 21-credit hour minor in Women's and Gender Studies and a 20-credit hour minor in Women's Health, along with a 15-credit hour academic certificate.
