JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Complex Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor oversees all functions of the Maintenance Department in our feed processing and trans load facility located in Hanford, CA. The Supervisor is responsible for overall operations of the maintenance department to assure no down time; ordering of parts, heads the planning and development of capital projects, PM goals, planning and installation of equipment for ongoing projects; establish, meet, and exceed budget goals, responsible for a staff of 10; work professionally and productively with other Department Supervisors and Plant Management. Supports the goals of the company, plant and department. The supervisor also participates in regulatory agency audits and inspections; ensure downtime reduction; plan for machinery upgrades; implement department safety and training program; and meet efficiency for department.

REQUIREMENTS

· Must have a minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience as a Supervisor or Manager.

· Looking for a minimum of 10 years working in industrial maintenance

· Must have experience working in a food processing/manufacturing plant.

· Must have experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical schematics

· Must be a results driven person, with excellent follow through and organizational skills.

· Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Must be able to speak, read, and write proficiently in English. Bi-lingual would be a plus.

· Prefer prior feed mill or manufacturing experience.

· Prefer Degree in Engineering, Electrical or other relevant area of study. Will consider experience in lieu of degree.

· Must have completed formal industrial maintenance program

· Must demonstrate strong technical knowledge.

· Must know PLC’s.

· Must know VFD

· Be able to read prints and understanding of scales/schematics.

· Must be a team player with Vision

· Have the ability to multitask under high pressure and time lines.

· Must have strong written and verbal skills.

· English/Spanish preferred.

COMPENSATION:

Salary is commensurate with experience. The company offers medical, vision, and dental benefits as well as a complimentary medical clinic to employees and immediate family

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
