Position Summary
PIPECARE seeking a competent and reliable Storekeeper in Houston, USA to manage our inventory and maintain organized storage facilities. The Storekeeper will be responsible for overseeing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate record-keeping of inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the storage areas. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Key Responsibilities & Authorities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in the storage area, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Plans storage requirements of inventory items, including appropriate labeling and placement and conditions at the assigned stores.
• Prepare and pack items for outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
• Prepares work schedule for stores and workshop staff to always ensure continual coverage.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, shortages, expenditures, and goods received, used, or issued.
• Receive store materials as per purchase order.
• Issue, arrange and keep the record of semi-finished materials from production.
• Keep storage areas clean, organized, and free from clutter.
• Organize the Store and keep the minimum and maximum quantity of materials and give support to all departments and avoid any mistake.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to facilitate smooth operations and timely delivery of goods.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management and/or Supervisor.

Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in the stores
• Bachelor or Diploma holder
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and procedures.
• Excellent knowledge of all materials and inventory control procedure and system
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Computer literate, especially in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• ERP knowledge is an advantage.
