Position Overview
This is a graphic design job, so we are guessing you get the gist of it, but just to make sure we are on the same page here is a quick overview. You will be collaborating, creating, brainstorming, concepting and delivering inspired designs to our customers. We need someone who is unafraid to step out of the box and try new things. You should also be slightly nuts about making our customers happy and keeping their businesses looking good. We think you will be surprised at the technology you get to play with every day at PIP and you will also get to hang out with some really cool people.
Your Basic Run-of-the-Mill Requirements
  • Have a portfolio that will knock our socks off
  • Have experience? Great. Just out of school or not so much experience? Great. Let's talk.
  • While this is more of an entry level position, if we find the right person with more experience we could be persuaded
  • Be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • A degree in Graphic Design (or enough on the job experience to convince us you are a fit)
Important Stuff You Must Have:
  • You must be nice to people you work with even when they don’t deserve it.
  • Be a good communicator – in person, on the phone, in meetings and be able to cobble together an email that doesn’t look like a 3rd grader wrote it.
  • Like to work while at work (a post to Instagram won’t kill anyone as long as you get your work done).
  • You eat, breathe, and drink design. You critique every package, cup, and menu and it makes you slightly ill if the design is not up to par.
  • You can be a lone wolf and ride the trail by yourself but are just as comfortable in a group setting brainstorming the next award-winning idea.
Big Pluses If You Have:
  • Any experience in a printshop like PIP
  • Background in the print industry
  • Social Media or web design skills
  • Video editing
  • Experience in the sign industry
To Apply:
  • Send a compelling cover letter to tell us why we should hire you.
  • A link to your portfolio
  • Resume
*Not a remote position option*
About Us:
We have been in business in central Illinois for over 40 years, so we aren't going anywhere. We have led the way in our franchise and have nifty awards and trophies to prove it. We also continue to create a ton of really cool projects for some of the area’s biggest companies. Check us out on facebook, flickr and our webpage.

This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchisee. All inquiries about employment at this franchisee should be made directly to the franchise location, and not to PIP.
