PINX LLC is Hiring a Catering Server (Logistics) Near San Leandro, CA

 

Pinx Catering is looking for an experienced and reliable Catering Server to work at our regular corporate and private events. This position will also include working in our offices and assisting our Logistics team in preparing for and cleaning up after our events. 

Pinx is a close-knit team that works closely together to ensure the best possible experience for all of our clientele. Each person in our company has something they are most proficient at and we work with each of our team members to ensure they are being utilized in the areas they work best. Working events can be hard work and we want all of our team members to enjoy the work they do because that is reflected in the service they offer to our clients and represents us as a company.

This is an on-call position and can range from part-time to full-time hours depending on your availability and our event schedule. You will help transport food and supplies to the venue, set up tables and food service equipment, serve guests, and clean up once the event is over. Our ideal candidate has at least one year of hospitality-related experience, preferably with upscale events. We are looking for self-motivated people who possess a sense of urgency. You must have a food handler's license, reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and a flexible schedule.

Catering Server Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Transport food and supplies to the venue

  • Set up for foodservice

  • Serve guests appetizers and their meal

  • Clean up once the event is over

  • Return to our offices to put all equipment away

  • Work with our logistics team to prepare for and clean up from events

Catering Server Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)

  • 1 year of hospitality-related experience

  • Valid food handler's certification (If you don’t have a current food handler’s card, we will help you obtain one)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Be self-motivated with a sense of urgency 

  • Pleasant, professional, outgoing personality

  • Well-groomed appearance and good hygiene

  • Strong Communication Skills

  • Able to take direction

  • Able to Lift and carry up to 40 lbs

  • Flexible schedule

  • Reliable transportation

Hourly Pay: $18.00 to $30.00
