Overview

We are looking for a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for a Hospice Executive Director position. The Executive Director (ED) must have at least 5 years of related experience in business or healthcare, including or in addition to 3 years of hospice or home health management experience. The Executive Director (ED) is responsible for the overall direction of hospice, and should be knowledgeable in program administration, healthcare policies and reimbursement. The ED establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy. The Regional Executive Director of Hospice Registered Nurse will be based in Deerfield and oversee the Northwest Suburbs, Chicago area, and the Chicago inpatient unit. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday plus administrative on-call rotation. This position is often called the Director of Patient Services in many home health hospice agencies. This Hospice Director of Nursing position is with a hospice company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. REQUIREMENTS OF THE REGIONAL HOSPICE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR RN POSITION: The Executive Director (ED) must have at least 5 years of related experience in business or healthcare, including or in addition to 3 years of hospice or home health management experience. The Executive Director must have at least an Associates Degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field. The registered nurse must be a registered nurse (RN). The registered nurse must be licensed in the state. The RN must either be a US Citizen or have your green card-- no exceptions.
