We are looking for a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OTR) for a very flexible position in homecare. This position offers a lot of flexibility, as the therapist schedules directly with their own patients, therefore you get to decide when you start and end your day to a large degree, and you can schedule your patients around your own life appointments and events. The pay and benefits for this Occupational Therapist position are very generous. This Occupational Therapy (OTR) position is in the Home Health setting doing homecare visits with adult and geriatric patients. The Occupational Therapist is not required to have homecare experience, however the Occupational Therapist must have at least a year of experience in any setting (in other words must have had your license for at least one year). This Occupational Therapy position is with a homecare company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. HOME HEALTH CARE OT JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Occupational Therapist must have a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy. The Occupational Therapist must have a license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state. The Occupational Therapist MUST either be a US Citizen or have your green card. The Occupational Therapist is NOT required to have homecare experience, however the Occupational Therapist must have at least a year of experience in any setting (in other words must have had your license for at least one year). We will accept Occupational Therapists with a year of experience in any of the following settings: skilled nursing facility SNF, rehab center, healthcare center, outpatient, Emergency Room, Emergency Department, assisted living facility ALF, homecare / home health, adult daycare center, or hospital.

2. What times and days could you do an in-person interview?

3. This is not shift work, but is seeing multiple patients a day in their homes or senior living facilities. You will be driving from patient home to patient home & most patients will be close together but sometimes you may have to drive 20-40 minutes to reach a patient's home, therefore; about half your day will be spent driving. Traveling is part of your salary plus you will get additional pay for mileage or a company car to use, but I want to make sure that you are fine with traveling as that is an integral part of home health?
