We seek Unarmed Security to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises and identify risks to staff and patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain all post-specific certifications required, including but not limited to a Nevada PILB guard card, Armed Guard Card, Cannabis Card, etc. These certifications must be carried on your person at all times.

  • Identifies situations where security violations have occurred and take reasonable and prudent action to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and company/customer assets.

  • Performs scheduled and random inspection of physical premises to observe and identify potential security and safety risks or undesirable conditions; monitors, cautions, instructs, corrects, investigates, and reports persons or incidents involving suspected break-ins, tampering, vandalism, thefts, or property damage.

  • Maintains watch at company gates and access controlled points; admits or denies access as directed by company management or security supervision; issues temporary badges and identification and provides directions as needed.

  • Provides immediate response to all emergencies, including but not limited to structural and brush fires, medical emergencies, confined space rescue, undesirable conduct, violations of company policies or civil laws, and hazardous material incidents; assists until proper authorities arrive.

  • Monitors property being removed from restricted buildings or company premises to ensure proper authorization.

  • Monitors security and provides fire watch; tests, documents, and makes recommendations relative to premises security and fire watch to ensure system and equipment readiness.

  • Documents and reports any irregularity, incident, or emergency actions concerning safety and security daily or as required by post-specific orders, utilizing company software

  • Checks packages and identification; questions and detains unauthorized persons without proper ID or those found in restricted areas.

  • Checks in and out on time for scheduled shifts utilizing the company clock-in system and any client-specific clock-in system per post-specific orders.

  • Communicates at minimum 15-minute intervals via Zello

  • Utilize Insperity to review company policies and post orders

  • Operate a company vehicle as directed to assist with property surveillance and patrol. An active driver's license is required.

  • Interfaces with local law enforcement and security agencies as situations require

  • Attend a minimum of one company training per month as offered

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management directly or through post-specific operating procedures (SOPs)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One to two years of related experience or equivalent.

  • Hold a valid driver's license when required to operate a vehicle

  • General knowledge of security procedures/methods and fire watch.

  • CPR and First Aid Training preferred.

  • Patrolling and report writing experience preferred.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing

priorities with enthusiasm

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

  • Ability to understand any safety requirements and cautions

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
