HOURS:Day shift with occasional evenings/nights
20 hours/week
REQUIREMENTS:Must be an LPN or RN
Must become nationally certified in Infection Prevent andControl within six months of employment
RESPONSIBILITIES:Managing the Infection Prevention program
Develop a system of promoting infection prevention
Participates in the national collaboratives
Direct the external reporting to CDC NHSN and other systems
Oversee education of infection practices
Audit records and employee performance related to same
Maintain current knowledge of state and federal regulations
