Originates loans for the purpose of resale on the secondary market. Originating loans outside of place of business over 50% of the time. These duties include: determining the appropriate loan program, ordering credit reports, providing disclosures and reviewing HUD settlement statement. Delivers HUD statement to borrower and attending as many closings as possible.
Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
Ability to type with high degree of speed and accuracy.
Ability to multi-task, and function as a team player.
Ability to sell mortgage and bank products.
Ability to work with accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
Two years of previous mortgage loan originating experience preferred.
Knowledge of FNMA, FHA, VA and NIFA guideline.
Knowledge of underwriting process.
Knowledge of the secondary market, agency loan products and guidelines.
Knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
