Pinnacle Bank / Bank of Colorado is Hiring a Cashier - Bank of Colorado Near Fort Collins, CO

Description/Job Summary

Develops and implements policies, procedures and controls that protect the assets of the Bank, comply with regulatory requirements, and ensure the integrity and accuracy of the Bank's financial statements. Serves and participates as a member of the Bank's senior management.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Develops and implements board approved policies, also develops systems and procedures to ensure that controls are in place to protect our customers, the charters and branches.
  • Oversees staff and/or operations management team.
  • Works with the Cashiers of affiliate banks in regard to procedures, policies, products, and audits to insure consistency throughout the charters. Meets on a regular basis with the other cashiers.
  • Review and approve spec changes on all applications completed by Pinnacle Support Center for Pinnacle Bancorp owned banks. Authorizes new general ledger accounts and adjusts branch allocation percentages on allocated general ledger accounts.
  • Works to complete budgets for shared operations and to pull the overall budget for the entire bank together.
  • Sets up branch accruals for real estate and personal property taxes, salaries, and other accruals as needed.
  • Works with the Internal Audit, Compliance and Fraud Department regarding operational findings and issues. Works with branches on processes and procedures as needed to address findings. Ensures that branch surprise vault counts occur on an annual basis at a minimum.
  • Prepares and coordinates the organization and gathering of information for regulatory examinations and audits.
  • Develops new products and services at the direction of the Bank President. Requests or creates special reports requested by President or Regional/Market Presidents.
  • Assists with operational compliance issues. In addition, communicates and works with all the managers on any issues, concerns or questions.
  • Serves as approver and backup for security transfers and pledging of bank's securities to public funds and customer repurchase agreements.
  • Develops a management information system that provides management with timely, pertinent information for the effective management of the bank.
  • Serves as the primary bank contact with the Pinnacle Support Center.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills

  • Skills in operating computer terminals and printers.
  • Skills in operating the software and hardware utilized in the bank's everyday processing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and co-workers.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to function as a team player and leader.

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years Bank Operations or related work experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of direct employee supervision is expected.
  • Strong knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of management practices and principles.

Required Education

A college degree with an emphasis in business is preferred.
