We are seeking an energetic, responsible, and dedicated Facilities Technician to join our growing team. The Facilities Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks involving all aspects of facilities maintenance and upkeep. In this position you will be expected to learn the daily routines and procedures.

Essential Functions and Duties

• General maintenance skills
• Install and troubleshoot Point of Sale Equipment
• Promptly respond to requests for emergency repairs
• Analyze electronic and mechanical issues and repair
• Communicate technical knowledge and issues to operations staff
• Perform routine building maintenance duties
• Troubleshoot and repair petroleum related equipment
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral
• Comply with all safety and health regulations
• Supporting the Maintenance Manager in the day-to day activities
• Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned

Qualifications

• Problem-solving skills
• Basic computer and networking knowledge
• Exceptional time management and attention to detail, including being reliable and punctual
• Have good hand-eye coordination and ability to lift heavy objects
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in a written or oral format
• Proactive and resourceful with the ability to ask questions to gain knowledge and understanding
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability and desire to learn

Additional Qualifications

• Petroleum equipment certifications preferred, but not required
• Experience with HVAC controls preferred, but not required
• The ability to safely operate hand and power tools
• Critical Thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and conclusions
• Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers, coworkers, and management
