Currently, we're on the lookout for a Mechanic, affectionately known as a "Bowling Mechanic," who will play a pivotal role in maintaining Qubica AMF pinsetters, automatic scoring systems, lanes, and all other bowling equipment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

The Bowling Mechanic's role encompasses a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: 

• Efficiently source and replace bowling equipment components, demonstrating prudent procurement practices.
• Maintain a well-stocked and up-to-date inventory of equipment parts by meticulously documenting all machine repairs and part usage.
• Identify and coordinate necessary repairs and replacements, obtaining final approval from the Executive Director or COO before proceeding.
• Take a hands-on approach to managing, developing, and mentoring other Mechanics/Pin Chasers, recognizing and capitalizing on individual strengths and opportunities for growth.
• Ensure comprehensive training and knowledge of machine area safety practices and protocols among all technical staff, in accordance with Company standards.
• Assist in enhancing the technical staff's ability to diagnose equipment malfunctions through careful observation and guidance.
• Uphold an organized and orderly workshop and machine areas, maintaining cleanliness and functionality (e.g., workbench, work area, service aisle).
• Initiate, track, and update the preventative maintenance system for all venue equipment on a well-defined schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually).
• Facilitate clear and effective communication across all departments.

• Cultivate a vibrant and innovative work atmosphere that promotes positivity and creativity among all team members and management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

Associate degree in an engineering or technology discipline or equivalent work experience

Desired Experience/Knowledge:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working with Qubica AMF machines or an equivalent blend of education and hands-on expertise. Familiarity with OSHA safety practices and protocols, demonstrating a solid understanding. Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds, ensuring physical capability for the role. Comfortable working in an environment characterized by elevated noise levels, adapting with ease. Regular utilization of hands, fingers, tools, and controls, coupled with the ability to effectively reach using hands and arms. 

  Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, to cater to operational needs.
