Minimum Qualifications Required:

• Valid Nevada teaching license
• Bachelor's Degree
• Possesses the ability to pass a pre-employment criminal history background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the 6th grade ELA curriculum.
• Provide support and instruction to students with disabilities and developmental disabilities, ensuring inclusivity in the classroom.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
• Incorporate literacy education strategies to enhance students' reading and writing skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement educational activities that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Utilize communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members.
• Regularly assess student progress and provide feedback to support academic growth.
• Stay updated on best practices in education and implement innovative teaching methods.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
