Pinebrook Family Answers is Hiring a Mental Health Professional (Outpatient) Part-Time Near Wind Gap, PA

We are looking for candidates for our Easton office who can join us in our mission, as visionary leaders in children's services, to promote the well-being and self-sufficiency of children and their families and strengthen our communities through prevention, intervention, and advocacy.

People of all ages and backgrounds come to Pinebrook Family Answers for high quality outpatient counseling and psychiatric services. Our clinical practitioners address a wide range of behavioral health problems, interpersonal issues and stressors related to life transitions for children, adolescents, adults and seniors.

WHAT You’ll Do as a MHP:

  • Meet with assigned clients in individual, group, collateral or family sessions and intake appointments.
  • Maintains contact with referral sources, particularly in the case of internal referrals.
  • Tracks client progress via Greenspace, documenting in the EHR as necessary.
  • Monitors client treatment plans, ensuring that an active treatment plan is in place prior to delivering any billed services.
  • Completes all required documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Provide psychotherapy to children, adults and families in the Outpatient Behavioral Health Program.

Compensation:

Part-time therapists are paid at a starting rate of ($22.00/hr), $18.00/hr. for agency-required orientation and training sessions.

70% of hours paid for must be spent in billable time.

Mental Health Professionals would commit to a minimum of 20 hours. Progress notes must be completed within 48 hours of the session. It is expected that all clients will be seen at least three times a month.

Qualifications:

  • This position requires a graduate degree from an accredited college or university in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum from a license eligible program.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of managed-care environments and willingness to provide treatment and work within that system.
  • Be conversant in standard computer applications and proficient in written documentation.
  • Bilingual Strongly Preferred.
  • Must have experience working with kids.
  • Flexible to workiing evening and weekends.
