Pinebrook Animal Hospital is Hiring a Certified Veterinary Technician Near Park, UT

Pinebrook Animal Hospital, located near Jeremy Ranch, Utah, is searching for an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our small animal practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for Certified Veterinary Technician with current experience, excellent critical thinking skills, a passion for veterinary medicine, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Background and experience:

  • Skilled Certified Veterinary Technician with more than 3 years of hands-on experience
  • Dependable, enthusiastic, hardworking, honest, and team orientated individual
  • Strong work ethic and ability to jump in and help where needed
  • Ability to provide the gold standard of medicine and client communication
  • Long-term commitment to the veterinary field
  • Familiarity, or experience with, Cornerstone is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Anesthetic induction
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Surgical preparation and assistance
  • Dental prophy
  • Digital radiology
  • Patient handling and restraint
  • Blood draws
  • IV catheter placement
  • Suture wounds and incisions
  • Pharmacy duties
  • Lab work
  • Drug calculations
  • Outpatient procedures
  • Microscopic evaluation
  • Administer vaccines, injections, and medications
  • Client communication and education

Full-time benefits:

  • Compensation: 22-27/hour (based on experience)
  • Bonus package: $2,000
  • CE allowance: $500 the first year and $1,000 annually thereafter
