Pine Valley Market in Wilmington, NC is looking for Full and Part time Prep Chefs to join our team. We are located on 3520 S College Rd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable. This is a great entry position if you are interested in the restaurant business!

In addition to hours in our Cafe/Market, additional hours are available for catered events, in home dinner parties and large scale wedding.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down workstation
• Mix, wash, peel, chop, slice meat and vegetables
• Fry Chips & French Fries
• Label stock and inventory all ingredients
• Weigh and measure ingredients to be used
• Assemble Salads, Plate salads & Sandwiches & Deliver Lunch Items to Customers at Table.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred working in BOH Food Handling and Sanitation
• Passion for cooking - a love of food!
• Dedicated to working with a team towards one common goal
• Knowledge of kitchen basic kitchen equipment and utensils
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to problem solve and take initiative
• Reliable Transportation
• Must be able to lift, pull, push, pick up, and put down up to 25 pounds
