About the Job: 

• Perform Respiratory duties as a licensed Respiratory Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Overall duties include all Respiratory Therapy modalities, arterial blood gases, high flow oxygen therapy, inhaled medication delivery, bedside pulmonary function testing, cpap delivery for OSA, home oxygen assessments (oximetry with ambulation).
• Critical care duties include airway management of patients with artificial airways (intubation, tracheostomy), bedside bronchoscopies, Flolan therapy, blood gases and daily ventilator spontaneous weaning assessment and trials.
• Emergency room procedures including but not limited to airway management of patients requiring respiratory intervention, responding to cardiac and respiratory arrests, and ventilator management.
• Therapists are a part of the Code Blue and Rapid Response teams.
