With a compensation structure that respects the value of your work and your years of experience, you can expect an annual salary ranging between $75,000 and $90,000 when providing 29 hours of care each week. Additionally, every therapist earns bi-weekly bonuses for all additional hours of care provided, boosting your total compensation to $88,000 to $100,000 . This model rewards your dedication to delivering high-quality care with the flexibility to match your personal and professional ambitions.

Requirements:

  • You have a master's degree in Occupational Therapy and a Texas state license in good standing.
  • You are eager to work with pediatric clients and to design and administer treatment programs to increase clients’ levels of functioning in ADLs, daily routines, and age-appropriate occupations including play and feeding.
  • Experience in conducting assessments to establish clients' strengths and needs.
  • Physical demands: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions: Required to sit, stand, bend, and walk regularly; lift and/or move up to 45lbs pounds; visual and auditory ability enough for written and verbal communication; the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Your role as an Occupational Therapist?

Our interdisciplinary approach means that you will collaborate with other Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Mental Health Practitioners, Physical Therapists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and Neuropsychologists. As a member of our team, you will:

  • Design and administer treatment programs to increase clients’ levels of functioning in ADLs, daily routines, and age-appropriate occupations including play and feeding.
  • Make appropriate cross-referrals to other disciplines as needed
  • Provide activities to assess and address the client’s executive functioning skills, attention, and coordination (fine and gross-motor)
  • Design home programs and instruct clients and families in carrying out such programs.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, such as doctors, teachers, and pediatric therapists, to ensure our clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care
  • Keep detailed records of progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
