This position requires a strong background in purchasing of lumber and building supplies. Basic accounting knowledge is necessary. We're looking for a bright, intelligent candidate with a proven track record of making decisions that reduce costs and can adapt well to our dynamic environment. The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for managing inventory, purchasing, and negotiating with vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and order goods and services from vendors.
• Provide input into purchasing decisions.
• Maintain awareness of new technologies and industry trends that can affect purchasing decisions.
• Prepare reports about purchasing activities and inventory management.
• Forecast inventory needs for specific time intervals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,878.00 - $64,754.00 per year
