Job Description

Pine Bluff Materials is looking for a dynamic person to join our team as a Barge Distribution Manager in our Nashville, TN office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating product delivery with involvement in both the production team and our sales group. This position is a key position in our company and requires good communication to schedule barges for third party towing to and from various company production sites and terminals based on sales needs and will schedule barges for loading / unloading at both internal and external distribution points. This person will report to the General Manager. Basic Qualifications

• 4 years' experience on the inland river system.
• Knowledge of barge distribution and logistics.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or any related field or administrative / support field to these areas of study (with or without a marine emphasis) or commiserate experience is required.
• Must maintain the highest level of safety in all aspects of the job.
• Must possess excellent technical skills, as well as good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be fluent in Microsoft Office and other standard software applications.
