Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pool Technician to join our team. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing pools to ensure they are clean, safe, and in proper working condition. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to use power and hand tools effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on pools, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspection
- Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators
- Conduct water testing to ensure proper chemical levels and adjust as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of pool maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to management
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any pool-related problems
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient scheduling and completion of pool maintenance tasks
Experience:
- Previous experience in pool maintenance or a related field is highly preferred
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for equipment repair and maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge of pool systems and components
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
