The successful candidate for this part-time position will assist TRiO UBMS’s high school students at AVHS, DVHS, and/or SSHS to develop comprehension in the subject coursework. The successful candidate will effectively communicate and help improve participants' study skills and habits. Tutors will also assist the Program Coordinator in virtual or in-person workshops, events, meetings, and engage students in a collaborative learning environment. The tutor would be assigned to one of the service high schools but may visit the other high schools and/or PCC’s Desert Vista Campus, when necessary. The high schools that TRiO UBMS provides services to are Alta Vista High School (AVHS), Desert View High School (DVHS), and Sunnyside High School (SHS).

Subjects include: Math, Science, Writing/Language Arts. (Multiple subjects preferred)
