We are looking for a Sanitation Coordinator Intern interested in starting a SWEET career as part of our team located in Somerset, NJ

Job Descriptions

• To perform time studies for all sanitation related job duties
• To review and or update SSOP’s to reflect the way they’re being performed or the way they should be performed.
• To assist in the writing of Work Instructions and SSOP’s
• Support of M3, managing work order submissions and closing out of work orders
• Identify opportunities to cut time in sanitation job duties without jeopardizing quality of cleaning.
• Give support in managing overwhelmingly sanitation supply inventory.
• Assist in departmental training and or developing of training presentations.
• Partner with other departments to identify how sanitation can better interdepartmental relationships and tasks.
• Daily auditing of facility to identify potential food safety issues and cleaning opportunities.

Primary Learning Objectives

• How to plan projects and successfully see them through.
• How to write Work instructions and SOP’S
• How to perform time studies
• How to audit documentation
• How to audit a facility to SQF/NSF regulations and standards
• How to schedule tasks to meet required frequencies and deadlines
• Managing of Inventory
• Developing the bandwidth to interact with multi departments to accomplish assigned goals/tasks.
• Use of M3 word order software

Qualifications

• Qualifications:

• Rising junior in college/university, pursuing bachelor’s degree in related field
• 3.0 overall GPA or better.
• Strong business acumen and analytical ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and organization skills; and, demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
• Self-motivated and bias for action.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Demonstrated personal and professional values
