We are seeking innovative and entrepreneurial minded students to join our 2024 Summer Internship Program as an IT Intern in Somerset, New Jersey. And we make snacks and candy. Need we say more?

This program will provide invaluable work experience and an opportunity to develop professionally by working on meaningful projects that directly impact the company and our brands. JOB OVERVIEW

Desktop Technician will be responsible for PC workstation and peripheral set-ups, deployment, installation, configuration and troubleshooting of incidents and problems.

This person will work with internal customers, including faculty and staff, to develop and deploy solutions to solve customer needs and requests.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide support to onsite and remote Somerset users relating to both hardware and software problems on their workstations and smartphones
2. Configure, deploy and support various endpoint devices, such as PCs, laptops, printers, barcode scanners and cell phones throughout the Somerset locations
3. Report food safety and quality issues to Plant management and SQFP
4. Follow PIM Brands GMP rules
5. Assist in performing necessary upgrades and configurations as necessary to support business growth as it relates to our Windows desktops and user endpoint devices
6. Facilitate the resolution of technical problems reported by our internal and external customers through research and analysis, and further escalation when required
7. Thoroughly document issues, as well as the analysis and design required for resolution
8. Expresses enthusiasm, offering a partnership approach in a positive, can-do manner

Respond to and coordinate resolution efforts to tickets that have been generated by the users in our Somerset locations

Qualifications

Qualification

• Rising junior in college/university
• 3.0 overall GPA or better.
• Strong analytical ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and organization skills; and, demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
• Self-motivated and bias for action.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Demonstrated personal and professional values.
• The ability to multitask
• Ability to work within team environments to accomplish set goals
