Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and transfer calls to appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify insurance information and assist with billing inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information
- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, and photocopying
- Perform data entry and transcribe documents as needed
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Ensure the reception area is clean and organized
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong proofreading and clerical skills
- Excellent computer skills, including the ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of office procedures and basic administrative tasks
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
