JOB SUMMARY: Independently works off assessment skills to activate patient care protocols to deliver patient care within the Missouri paramedic scope of practice within the defined Pike County Memorial Hospital paramedic scope of practice. Responsible for triage care in the field as well as the Emergency Department. Responsible for effective communication to ensure safe and quality patient care in paramedic team, transport and handover.
Shift: 48 on 96 off schedule.Status: Full - TimeKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responds to emergency and non-emergency patient care needs. Communicates with the emergency department upon arrival. • Provides quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care. • Documents initial and updated assessments on all patients.

High school diploma or G.E.D.Advanced Emergency Medical TechnicianParamedic course/licenseMinimum 1 year as Emergency Medical Technician.LICENSE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
Valid MO State Driver's License and acceptance as a driver by our insurance company.Valid State of Missouri Paramedic LicenseCurrent CPR certification.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
