OUR BUSINESS

We are a small, family owned, awning company looking for the right person to join our amazing team of installers. We make awnings, screens, shade sails and other custom products that we install onto local homes and businesses.

We are the industry's leading company, established in 1891, with an average employee tenure of 15 years. We serve all of Oregon, southwest Washington with occasional travel outside of the area.

Our business prides itself on providing superb customer service, producing quality products and giving respect to our staff and customers; we’re looking for someone with these same values.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We’re looking for someone to join our installation team and to hopefully grow within the business.
This role will be a part of a team installing awnings on residential homes and commercial buildings, performing site assessments for new jobs and assisting with general shop work. We are willing to train the right person and are hoping this person will grow into a leadership role within 1-2 years.

JOB SKILL REQUIREMENTS

- Applicants should have a minimum of 1-2 yrs experience in construction or installation work.
Preferably in awning installation, but, willing to train the right person

- Ability to work as part of a team, leadership experience a plus

- Need to be able to work from ladders and lifts

- Be comfortable with heights

- Job requires heavy lifting (100 lbs at times), standing on feet all day, bending and stooping

- Working knowledge of hand and power tools

- Ability to work outdoors in all weather

- Knowledge on common attachment methods (Epoxy, wedge anchors, etc)

- Must have valid driver's license and be insurable

- Excellent customer service and strong work ethic

- Ideally looking for someone long term, willing to grow with the business

BENEFITS

Typical work hours are Monday thru Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
