Job Description Summary

• The Grocery Clerk is responsible for handling grocery products, including full knowledge of product line and location. The Clerk receives, cuts, marks, transports, and shelves product. The Clerk is also responsible for providing attentive and friendly customer service by assisting customers with questions and escorting customer to service desk for further assistance if needed.

Job Description

• Complete grocery operations, safety, and sanitation responsibilities in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating product
• Ensure safe and clean floor conditions, including sweeping, mopping, and clearing all unsafe conditions
• Help keep the backroom clean and orderly by organizing grocery area, and making bales
• Follow direction of the Grocery Manager and MOD, inform appropriate people if any problems arise
• Retrieve carts when needed
• Assist with cashing/ bagging, and performing price checks where applicable

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $9.90 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
