How to be Successful in the Role: We are looking for a self-starter, passionate, collaborative, and creative IT Service Delivery leader. Someone who is highly skilled and a strategic thinker with emphasis in SharePoint, Automation, and Project Management. Being able to communicate and interact with customers, IT leaders, elected officials, and stakeholders across our organization, modifying your work approach based on strong collaboration. Someone who can oversee the workflow and the development of the Microsoft 365 team and pivot as needed.
Your Future in this Role: This team is crucial to ensuring that key solutions are implemented and supported in a secure and cost-effective manner to achieve the needs of the public, elected officials, and county staff. You will be instrumental in our mission to implement, maintain and manage Microsoft 365 services and solutions that significantly impact County business processes. In this key lead role, you will have the opportunity to influence future direction and development of the service team, while contributing as a member of the larger Client Technology Services and IT team.
Core Daily Responsibilities:
May oversee employee performance for a group of IT Systems Engineers providing User Systems support.
Provide highly skilled operational support for a variety of user system platforms including handheld, desktop, workstation, and laptop hardware, associated operating systems and application software.
Specialize in providing advanced level technical support for entire County within specific, wide reaching, mission critical, assigned hardware or software tool areas.
Provide advanced level technical strategic planning and implementation of new user system platform technology standards.
Provide advanced direct consulting services for customer departments regarding technology budgeting, computing solutions, client-oriented technology project implementation, relocation services, and user application productivity including meeting training needs.

A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in information technology, computer sciences, business, public administration or related field.
Six or more years of information technology experience required.
Additional education or experience may substitute for the recruiting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Progressive experience as a Microsoft 365 service and support engineer.
Progressive experience in developing solutions using Microsoft 365 Suite of products with an emphasis on SharePoint Online and Power Automate.
Experience applying modern Project Management principals, practices, and tools.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Automate, Security & Compliance Center, Microsoft 365 Apps and OneDrive.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Graph PowerShell for managing on-premises and Microsoft 365 online environments with scripting expertise for Microsoft 365 / Entra / Teams / SharePoint
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 licensing, features, and policy management
Working knowledge of Active Directory, Enterprise Mobility Security, and the Microsoft Identity Platform
Working experience with application monitoring tools, reviewing log files, and be available on occasion for off hours emergency or planned support for critical applications
Solid understanding of the Microsoft 365 roadmaps, and future developments, for productivity solutions to ensure smooth introduction and implementation.
