What You Will Do:
The Front Desk Receptionist will greet and assist patients and visitors to the office. This position is responsible for answering the telephone, greeting and checking in guests, scheduling appointments, processing payments, maintaining patient records, insurance verification, treatment planning, and general office duties. This position will also provide general information about the practice to visitors. The position requires a working knowledge of all aspects of the practice such as the history of the practice, our practices' procedures and our commitment to providing quality care in a caring environment. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail and must be able to maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
·Greet all patients in a friendly manner upon arrival and departure.
·Answer incoming calls in a professional manner; direct calls to appropriate staff members; relay messages between staff members and other outside parties; monitor telephone system for receptionist function.
·Check in patients using practice management software.
·Verify insurance information and collect copays.
·Collect patient payments at each visit by using electronic payment devices or by using cash or checkboxes.
·Maintain records of visits by entering information about patients such as dates, names, addresses etc. into medical record software. Enter amounts paid for visits into billing system.
·Ensure that all patient records are kept up to date and complete daily reports on open cases as requested by management.
·Perform other duties as assigned including but not limited to scheduling appointments, scheduling new patients, billing, collections etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
