Piedmont Facility Services, LLC is Hiring a Low Voltage Technician Near Charlotte, NC
Job Overview:
A Low Voltage Technician provides infrastructure support including: Installation, termination, testing, labeling, and decommissioning of Power, CAT5 fiber optic cabling and patch systems for residential communities.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and establish collaborative partnerships with clients, corporate teams, and onsite community teams to install various security systems
- Oversee and respond to various client needs such as security and alarm wiring projects, cable installation, fiber optic cabling, and CAT 5 wiring
- Perform preventative maintenance on cameras, monitors, or other hardware
- Troubleshoot miscellaneous calbing and connectivity
- Determine how to best install components and wiring based on reading blue prints
What You’ll Need:
- Strong 2 years experience installing alarm systems, cable installation, and CAT5 fiber optic cables
- Working knowledge of critical low voltage systems in residential communities
- Ability to work independtly to troubleshoot and repair critical low voltage systems
- Certified in electrical safety procedures
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
