A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FINE DINING ROOM SERVER

As an upscale dining room server providing exceptional, personalized food and beverage service to our members and their guests, you always convey a friendly, welcoming presence to all upon seating. Careful with details, you set your tables perfectly with immaculate linen and impeccably polished glassware and silverware.

You patiently share details about our cuisines on portions, ingredients, and potential food allergens. Having learned our menus inside and out, you confidently offer food or beverage recommendations. You ensure all orders are accurate and timely, also communicating any modifications to our traditional menu items. Following proper server etiquette, you promptly refill beverages and quietly clear away dishes following each course. 

Taking pride in your dining area, you consistently adhere to health codes and proper cleaning procedures—ultimately ending your shift with completed side work. As a bonus, you enjoy having our beautiful grounds and facilities as a backdrop—presenting a historic and charismatic ambience right in the heart of Atlanta—unlike any other. Your typical work schedule is five days a week in the evenings with Sundays and Mondays off.

Requirements

• 18 years or older (to serve alcohol)
• One year of comparable serving experience
• Basic reading, writing, and math and skills
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Exceptional customer service skills

Experience in a country club environment, experience with a point-of-sale system, and some wine knowledge are highly desirable but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
