About us:
Pie Jacked is a Top 9 Allergen Free bakery, specializing in delicious gluten-free pies, cakes, and specialty items.
We are family owned and operated and have a tight knit staff. As a family owned business, we understand the importance of a work/life balance and are looking for that special fit with our company.
Out of respect to our current staff members' requests, applicants should be up to date on Covid-19 vaccinations. We serve immunocompromised customers and wear masks at the front end.
We’re hiring full time (5 days per week). We keep a set schedule weekly with the flexibility of understanding life happens.
Our current, operating hours are Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:30pm/close and Saturdays 9:00am-2:30pm/close. Monthly bonuses average from $1-$2 per hour (even more around the holiday season) so that starting $15 would end up $16-$17 per hour. Hourly pay based on experience and ability after training.
Room for advancement - Lead positions, inventory manager position. Regular reviews for pay increases.
Responsibilities and Duties
Help with all processes in our bakery including but not limited to setting up, breaking down, following recipes, weighing, machine operating, packaging and labeling, packing up and organizing curbside orders, assisting customers at the case and on the phone, dish washing, mopping, and keeping facility very clean.
Qualifications and Skills
Baking experience is excellent, even if it is home baking, but we train because gluten-free and allergen-free baking is different. Basic kitchen skills are ideal but we train. We are both a retail pie shop as well as a food manufacturing facility so we require adherence to food manufacturing standards.
Holiday Hours
We work hard leading up to the holidays, and earn a break. We are family oriented and our facility is closed and we do NOT work on Thanksgiving day, Black Friday (Thanksgiving weekend), or Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day, and limited or no hours on Independence Day.
