Pictsweet is Hiring a Fleet Manager Near Bells, TN
- Identify all rolling stock needs
- Identify best equipment fit for each rolling stock application
- Develop strategy to fund optimal fleet on an ongoing basis. Must include annual funding request(s) for capital monies
- Write specifications for all rolling stock bid solicitations
- Develop bid packages for all bid solicitations, evaluate bids, and recommend procurement
- Arrange transport from origination site to site of use
- Develop procedures for disposing of unneeded equipment
- Establish and maintain vendor relationships
- Develop maintenance schedules to ensure operational efficiency and ensure detailed equipment servicing and inspection records are maintained
- Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulatory requirements
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management
EDUCATION:
SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Considerable knowledge of rolling stock including tractors/implements, forklifts, OTR trucks/trailers, pick-up trucks, cars, etc.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to build consensus.
- Computer literate with the ability to learn and use customized software.
- Good negotiation skills.
