• Teach lessons, camps, clinics, practices, new member orientations, etc. as scheduled, following curriculums, lesson plans and teaching protocols as applicable
• Build and maintain an active schedule of private lessons, scheduling lesson times directly with students
• Be ready to go on and off court exactly on time
• Ensure that all lesson balls and equipment are cleared from the court after each lesson
• Follow club court reservation policies when booking lessons
• Work closely with Programming Director to ensure proper payment is made for all lessons and clinics

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to write, read, speak, hear and see
• Able to demonstrate each tennis stroke and skill proficiently; able to pass USPTA certification test; NTRP rating a minimum of 4.5
• Standing for prolonged periods
• Walking, running, bending, twisting, and moving sideways: actions involved in playing tennis
• Working outdoors and exposed to sun (and other weather conditions) for prolonged periods
• Light equipment set-up and take-down
• Able to project voice across a tennis court, on a sustained basis
• Lifting and carrying (up to 40 lbs.)
