**Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Produce Clerk to join our team. As a Produce Clerk, you will play a key role in maintaining the quality and presentation of our fresh produce section. **Responsibilities:** - Package, price, and stock fresh fruits and vegetables - Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and purchases - Utilize retail math skills for weighing and pricing produce items - Assist with shipping and receiving of produce deliveries - Support sales efforts by ensuring displays are attractive and products are well-stocked - Maintain organizational standards in the produce department - Multilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse customers - Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks as needed - Communicate effectively with team members and customers - Load and unload produce shipments **Skills:** - Strong customer service skills - Knowledge of retail math for pricing and weighing produce items - Experience with shipping and receiving procedures - Sales skills to promote produce items effectively - Organizational abilities to maintain a well-structured produce department - Multilingual capabilities are advantageous - Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks as required - Excellent communication skills for interacting with colleagues and customers
