Piccolo Restaurant in Huntington is seeking a Hostess/Host. Candidate must be friendly and professional in appearance. You must possess outstanding customer service skills. Experience with Open Table and POS is a plus. SERIOUS CANDIDATES ONLY PLEASE. This is not a seasonal position, you will work year round.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Must have evening, Friday & Saturday (and holidays) availability.

• Greet and escort guests to tables and assist in seating.

• Professional and pleasant phone skills.
• Help owner and manager in daily operations.
• Assist in preparing the Restaurant for service and maintaining cleanliness at all times.
• Take reservations and maintain records. Respond to emails, answer questions regarding catering and private parties.

• Knowledge of dinner menu and specials is a must. You are responsible for taking take-out and delivery orders.
• Assist in monitoring the guests needs.
